Fact
Based Management brings a unique set of capabilities to bear on
our client’s needs. These capabilities can be summarized in
a few words: experience and implementation know-how.
Our consultants
are experienced professionals,
a mixture of proven consultants and business executives. They have
long track records of getting measurable results, dealing successfully
with the realities of business organizations, politics and cultures.
We use a template
for defining work processes: the Seven
Elements. Unique to Fact Based Management, the Seven Elements
encompass the requirements for effective management control and
continuous improvement in any work environment. Some of our clients
have used them as a foundation for ISO registration and Six Sigma
initiatives.
The Seven Elements
are applied in a participative manner. We engage the entire organization
in custom tailoring the Seven Elements for the unique requirements
of each operation. This strengthens organizational “buy-in,”
reducing the resistance expected with any change initiative. It
also allows us to identify and resolve long-standing issues that
may have impeded beneficial change.
Our consulting
process is short on analysis and long on implementation. We are
"hands on" with your organization.
- We work with
your people, developing
them as we would new consultants. They work alongside us,
using our methodologies to develop work management processes,
process improvements and organizational changes. They present
the proposals, recommendations and plans to their own management
and peers.
- We live
the implementation plan with your people. Our consultants work
with them, on the operating floor and in the work areas, doing
the fine-tuning that can be necessary to implement the changes.
We have a unique coaching process
that facilitates the entire organization in change management,
making the transition from process flows and wire diagrams to
daily reality. We make implementation tangible, measurable and
predictable.
- We start
achieving the proposed results
as a part of our projects while we’re still on site. Our
projects institute the behavioral changes that form the basis
of lasting, beneficial cultural change, ensuring perpetuation
of the results.
We do not attempt
to supplant other business improvement methodologies with our own.
Rather, we have found that integrating
previous and existing initiatives with our projects creates
a synergy that actually enhances overall results. Our techniques
can leverage the benefits of both information systems and process
improvement initiatives.
